The smell of gasoline under a center console or in the head, due to fuel permeation, is always a concern for boaters.  Permeation is the process by which smaller hydro carbon molecules pass through the chemical chain of the cross-linked polyethylene resulting in fuel odor.  Sea Hunt Boats has eliminated this permeation issue!

Partnering with Moeller Marine and their Innovative Fuel System for all roto-cast fuel tanks, Sea Hunt Boats is the first in the industry to meet the 2011 E.P.A. and C.A.R.B. standards in all of their roto-cast fuel tanks!

What this means to our customers is that Moeller’s “low perm” fuel tanks provide an environmentally friendly fuel tank that greatly reduces the amount of fuel permeation into the atmosphere, allowing virtually no gas smells in the bilge or under the console due to a plastic tank permeation.
